the news came as a shock to many but surprisingly it didn’t really shocked me that much, no offence, i like this guy and i admire his skills and talents, he was the guy of my era and nobody doesn’t know him. maybe he just had too many negative news over the years and many of us seem to have forgotten him, now that he has died, we suddenly realise that the world has lost a great talent.

when i first heard he had passed away, something really struck me….this is a guy who during his heydays had influence over many and i really mean many man !!! despite his antics and negative news, everyone remembers him as a great talent. and so i think, if only he believed in Jesus during his last days and if only he managed to make his final comback in the 50 concerts that he has arranged in london as a christian, redeeming himself and bringing on good influence to the world before departing earth. so many “if onlys” but i know that God is higher than my thinking, and He has got his ways. we are just mere humans and we keep thinking “if only”. the following are some great & famous ppl who has once graced the face of this earth and died young, many had wondered “if only” but it never happened….

i think i have part of the answer why the “if only’s” never happened. becoz God has never meant for us to worship anyone else but Him, all these people above is some kind of idol to many around the world, and if God really used them, it might haved cause confusion rather than fully turning people back to God. of course, there are other influential ppl whom God has used and it worked but let’s not argue about that, these ppl that i have quoted in this post has actually reached “legendary” status, they are beyond just idols and some have already treated them as gods, probably why the “if only” never happened to them.

now….one thing we mankind never realise or always forget, the legends of all legends was already in existence from the very beginning, this is one true person who, not like any of the above idols mentioned, never passed away, the rest have come and they have gone, but this guy was here yesterday, today and forever…..He is the one that brought true love, He was the one that really contributed to the pplz, and this guy, His name is Jesus Christ, our forgotten “hero”

this guy never thought about how rich & famous He can be, He came to serve, to love and to bring the good news……He was never a negative influence to the ppl, instead He brought with Him some of the best qualities that this world has seen and have forgotten

He died, and He did it for a reason, not for himself but for the world and for those who did not know him. He brought to us salvation and eternal life. His death was only for 3 days and He lives forevermore, unlike any of the idols we mentioned earlier.

millions who have carried the baton to continue the legacy that Christ has left behind, have been persecuted and died but the world doesn’t know them, and no one mourns for them. nothing wrong with feeling sad over the death of someone famous who has brought us entertainment and joy, coz God luvs them too but we need to know what’s next? ppl come and ppl go, but God is always there, if only the world can use the same passion that they have for their respective idols on Godly things, i truly believe that the world would be a better place, would you all join me on this quest ?
